Just Swimming Tintern operates swimming lessons and water safety classes for children from 3 years through to young teens and adult squad. We operate Monday to Thursday afternoon and Saturday mornings. Tintern pool is located in the Tintern Grammar Sports Complex, corner Loma and Morinda streets Ringwood East.

As a boutique swim school with small class sizes, heated pool and friendly, experienced teachers keep classes moving and children progressing. Just Swimming Tintern provides an excellent environment for people of all ages and abilities to learn to swim.

Just Swimming Tintern also offer varied class levels at the same time which is perfect for families with multiple children making it convenient to attend your swimming lessons each week.

Our Facility

Just Swimming Tintern is a private facility with no public swimming and boasts an 8 lane, 25m swimming pool, ideal for children 3+ years who are at the beginning stages of learning to swim right through to adult and squad level.

Our facility includes

  • Unisex toilets and change rooms
  • Pram and Wheelchair access
  • Comfortable pool and air temperature, year-round.
  • Allocated disabled parking

Our 25m indoor pool averages around 30 degrees, an ideal temperature and environment for young kids starting their learn to swim journey. Our facility is surrounded by glass doors which can be opened in the warmer months. Just Swimming Tintern’s pool includes a shallow and deep end with entry/exit steps that makes it ideal for beginners whilst they are growing confidence in the water.

  • Please note: Swimming caps are compulsory at Tintern. You can purchase a swimming cap from Just Swimming or bring your own to your swimming lesson.

Getting here

Entry into the Tintern Sports Complex is best accessed corner Loma and Morinda streets, Ringwood East. As you enter the carpark, you will see the Sports Complex on your left.

Once you are in the foyer, please make your way over to the pool area where you’ll see our friendly team and reception desk. If you are new to Just Swimming, we’ll escort you to your class and introduce you to your new swimming teacher.

Parking

Just Swimming Tintern has ample off-street parking around the sports complex.

On some days there can be parking restrictions so please be mindful of the parking signs. On the occasion you are unable to find a parking spot on site, there is on-street parking on Morinda Street, a short walk from the Tintern Sports Complex. Please see the Tintern Campus Map

At Just Swimming, we understand that not everyone can access weekly swimming lessons. Our intensive programs offered in the school holidays are a great way to ensure your children still have the opportunity to learn to swim. What could be more fun than swimming and making a big splash into the pool during the school holidays?

The Big Splash Program offers the following programs:

Weekly Swim Intensive Programs – An intensive Learn to Swim program where students attend at the same time, each day for one or more weeks, during the school holidays.

Private Lessons – Tailored one on one sessions with one of our senior teachers

Stroke Improvement Clinics – A one-off session where students swim with a Nunawading Swimming Club Coach.
