Welcome to Just Swimming Nunawading, conveniently located at Aqualink, Fraser Place in Forest Hill.

We operate swimming and water safety classes for babies from 4 months through to adults, 7 days a week. With swimming lessons operating out of both our heated 50m and leisure pool, we have the ideal learning environment for all ages and abilities.

At Just Swimming Nunawading, we can cater for families who have more than one child with different level classes operating at the same time. We also offer term fee discounts for 2nd and subsequent children, no joining fees and make up lessons so you’ll never miss a kick.

Enrolling yourself or your children into swimming lessons with Just Swimming Nunawading can be a big decision. That’s why we offer a free introductory class to get a feel for our swimming lessons, teachers and environment.

Children are graded by both their skill and physical maturity so that all children in the class are of a similar level and individual swimming skills in our program have been broken down for ease of learning.

Our Facility

Home to Nunawading Swimming Club, our facilities are of a high standard and provide an excellent environment for people of all ages and abilities.

Just Swimming Nunawading boasts an 8 lane, 50m swimming pool and a smaller leisure pool, ideal for babies and young beginners learning to swim.

It also includes

  • Separate male and female toilets and change rooms
  • Pram and Wheelchair access
  • Comfortable pool and air temperature, year-round.

Our Leisure pool is for our Babies and weekday morning pre-school lessons as well as our afternoon and weekend lessons. The leisure pool temperature is generally set at 32.5 degrees year-round and is designed for beginners with a maximum depth of 90cm.

The 8 lane,  50m pool ranges from a depth of 1.2m to 2.1m and sits at a temperature of 29.5 degrees.

Getting here

Upon arrive at Just Swimming Nunawading, please head to the Just Swimming reception desk which is on the left side of the customer service area where you will be greeted by one of our friendly team members. You will need to scan in at reception so please allow adequate time to cater for possible queues. If you are new to Just Swimming Nunawading and the facility, our friendly team will ensure you are escorted to your class to meet your new swimming teacher.

Parking

Aqualink Nunawading has ample off street car parking out the front of the centre. At peak times such as Saturday mornings, you may find it difficult to get a carpark however there is additional parking at the football oval or in Opal Street, also off Husband Rd and walking distance to the centre.

At Just Swimming, we understand that not everyone can access weekly swimming lessons. Our intensive programs offered in the school holidays are a great way to ensure your children still have the opportunity to learn to swim. What could be more fun than swimming and making a big splash into the pool during the school holidays?

The Big Splash Program offers the following programs:

Weekly Swim Intensive Programs – An intensive Learn to Swim program where students attend at the same time, each day for one or more weeks, during the school holidays.

Private Lessons – Tailored one on one sessions with one of our senior teachers

Stroke Improvement Clinics – A one-off session where students swim with a Nunawading Swimming Club Coach.
