Age: 5 years upwards
Class size: 5 maximum 
Lesson length: 30 minutes

Turtle group focuses on water safety and the development of swimming skills.  There are three levels in Turtle group.

Highly qualified and caring instructors provide a safe and happy environment to enhance the confidence necessary for progression. 

We encourage a ‘happy learning environment’ for this age level, catering for water familiarisation through to a more formalised teaching of basic freestyle and backstroke.

Turtle Bronze
Focuses on the development of water safety, confidence, floatation and independent mobility in the water. 

Turtle Silver
Provides an introduction to swimming and water safety skills in an environment that facilitates fun and enjoyment.

Turtle Gold
Focuses on development of independent mobility and propulsion, coordination of kicking and armstrokes in freestyle and backstroke, introduction to side breathing on front and extension of water safety skills..
